Moses Grissom 1776 to 1844
There is almost no information on Moses except for his death date and possible his birth date. One census showed Wilson Cager's father as coming from England. A researcher says his wife was Polly Link. Link researchers say it isn't true because that Moses Grissom and Polly are buried in cemetery with a marker that says they had no children.

It would seem unlikely that they would have such a small family unless the mother died early. So far, this is what we have found. A researcher has one more member, Vinston Snipes Grisham, born March 1827 and died in nov 1910. I have not found any information on this person. Possible that should be Winston instead of Vinston.
The story is that Moses was a land spectulator who bought and sold land. The only information I have that was he was listed in a land thing in Giles or Sumnter County TN. Moses Grisham's name is listed more than one time in land records. Once as owning 30 acres. He was there in 1811 and 1830. So were Daughterys. Nancy A. married a Daughtery. Hope Hull Daughtery. Might have been the son of Cornelius Daughtery who was listed in the census.
